A busy IT shop on the high street but also a successful online provider of all things technical. MicroDirect required a Designer that could hit the ground running with various Marketing collateral, in traditional print and the digital world. The branding also needed some tweaking to help get its customers to recognise them when online.
This question will come in mind to anyone who runs events, Businesses and is a Freelance Designer.
As a professional Designer and Marketer of 20 years. I would say it all depends on what you want to pay!
You can get templates that you can easily download and print, that are free. If you look at the software Adobe PowerPoint, they have designs you can use, or by using the Google search engine, you can find various low-budget alternatives. But like everything you buy, the cheaper you go, the quality will be missing.
It may not if you’re all about getting your message out there, then I would suggest not spending much on your flyer and spend the money, on getting it printed and delivered by post, but don’t forget to post it in social media too!!
This is when you’re in a competitive market, and you need to look like a better offer. Which can entail many things, but when it comes to a flyer. A well-branded flyer with a professional logo, which is consistent with your website, stationery and other marketing collateral. Makes you look like a business, that is well established and professional.
